As you may be aware, Nkwashi will host a University which once fully developed will have a capacity of at least 9,000 students, including both local students and international students from around the world. The research university will include a 130 acre campus with sports facilities that will be open to the residents of Nkwashi to use as well. As Nkwashi is a college town, the university is at the heart of our plan to build the city’s economy–we’d like for you to be part of that.
The construction of the University is scheduled for the second quarter of this year. Enrolment is due to start within the next few weeks.
Thebe Investment Management will start development of the university’s teaching, administrative and lab facilities in the second quarter of the year. However, seeing that many people have asked to be involved in the development of student housing for the university, we are making it possible for anyone interested in building dorms for in-coming students. If you are interested in building rental housing for students and university staff, consider this an invitation–we would like to hear from you.
