Nkwashi’s commercial precinct will allow for a wide variety of business opportunities. We hope to make it easy for residents to choose whether to work in Nkwashi or simply make the 30 minute commute into Lusaka City for work. Ideally located just off Leopards Hill road, Nkwashi will have easy access to Lusaka’s ring roads, the Lusaka South Multi-Facility Economic Zone and be just over an hour’s drive from the Chirundu border with Zimbabwe; providing residents and business owners with great economic opportunities and ease of transportation.
The master-plan has provided for a large commercial area to be developed by third party developers. This commercial precinct will enable developers to establish office parks, and light industrial parks within the estate- providing residents with the possibility of employment within the estate. In addition, dispersed throughout the estate will be small commercial nodes with spaces for grocery stores, fuel-stations, and various other kinds of shops.
